Our Story
A Story of Grace, Hope, and New Beginnings

LightWay began with a simple desire: to follow Jesus and share the hope and freedom found in Him. But before there was a church, there was a story of two people whose lives were changed by His grace.

Pastor Todd is a Marine veteran who carried the weight of PTSD and survivor’s guilt, searching for healing in all the wrong places, including drugs and alcohol. April, a military spouse, walked through seasons of codependency and searched for identity and purpose in the things the world offered.

Both discovered that what they were searching for could only truly be found in Jesus. As they surrendered their lives to Him, He brought healing, freedom, and restoration, rebuilding their marriage on a foundation of grace and new life.

Their story is a reminder that no matter where we've been or what we've walked through, Jesus meets us in our brokenness and offers us hope for a new beginning.

How LightWay Began

In August 2025, LightWay Ministries began as a small home church with a simple desire to follow Jesus together and share His love with others.

What started in a home has grown into a church family, and our heart remains the same: to create a place where people can encounter Jesus, build genuine relationships, grow in faith, and experience the transforming power of His love.

LightWay is pastored by Todd and his wife, April Massey, who have been married since 2008. Together, they have a heart to see people discover the hope, freedom, and new life found in Christ.

More Than a Church Service. A Church Family.

We believe church is about more than gathering on Sunday mornings. It's about walking through life together, encouraging one another, growing in God's Word, and learning to follow Jesus day by day.

At present LightWay is a 100% volunteer-led church, made possible by a faithful team of ministry directors, board members, and volunteers who joyfully give their time, gifts, and hearts to serve others. We are deeply grateful for every person who helps carry this mission forward.

We're all growing, we're all learning, and we're all in need of God's grace. Wherever you are in your journey, we want you to know there's room for you here.
